IT'S THE SCENT-)

I was stopped by a nice lady once...  She asked what my perfume is.  She said she couldn't resist asking me because she loves the scent so much that she needs to buy the same.  I just hope that she's not pretending, lol!

I never go out of my room without any scent.  I have always believed that I am never completely dressed without perfume.  

I also love talking to people who smell good...  (who doesn't?)  Their scents bring me memories of our conversation, our story...  

Now I'd like to share with you, my Top 10 favorite scents and why I love them...

1.  Mademoiselle by Coco Chanel - definitely long lasting, sweet smell, and very sexy

2.  Dior Addict - citrus, with a hint of the sweetness and sourness of Grapefruit

3.  Chance by Chanel - extremely fresh, yet sensually spicy

4.  Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana gives me joy in every way...

5.  The modern yet classic smell of basil and white lime calms me, 

I combine different scents of Jo Malone and create a distinct smell which captivates a few.

6.  And who said that perfume is only for the body?  I love coming home to my marshmallow scented room, which smells heavenly.

7.  The scent of Un Jardin Ser Le Toit by Hermes sends me cool breeze, lovely to wear during daytime.  It reminds me of the calm waters of Coron, Palawan.

8.  One of my latest splurge, Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford.  Light and Citrusy, but long lasting. 

9.  This one will forever be my favorite, Infusion by Prada.  I swear I will never get rid of it...  It smells fresh, makes me feel elegant and sophisticated...

10.  And lastly, my sleeping buddy...  I can never go to bed without my Johnson's Baby Cologne.  

Talking about choosing scents, I remember when I was in Paris, I asked a beautiful lady from Tom Ford, which scent is the most appealing?  And the answer I got was, "you know, for you to choose a fragrance, you don't ask what's the best, you need to sniff it and wait for the memory it suggests on your mind."  

As a tip for you my girlfriends, always remember that when you are buying a perfume, you don't have to choose the scent, you've got to choose the memories...

I love Mickey Mouse!  He is my favorite cartoon character eversince.  I think he makes me laugh.  His smiling face is contagious, cheers me up, and he probably can  make me be more optimistic in life.

SOCK-IT!!!!

 Like any sort of fashion element, socks are sign of the times. Long socks, short socks, seamed stockings for the ladies, colorful Argyle socks for men. Brightly colored, weird and wacky socks for the kids, or, just plain 'ol white athletic socks. Times change and sock preferences change, too.

People have personalities to express and are stepping out of the norm every now and then by adding color and whim to their wardrobe. They don't have to wear these novelty socks everyday, but fun fashion socks bring a spark of adventure to an otherwise boring day.

I love socks and I like them colorful and playful...  Only if I could wear them daily, I would. But a trophy girlfriend has to wear her heels, too. Well, then again, that's another story.....

Why Blue?

I have always loved the color blue since i was child...  But I kept asking myself why? 

Well, it always put a smile on my face every time i see it. 

Blue is representing the coolest color.  It is the color of clear sky, the deep sea, royalty, inspiration, sincerity. Thus, blue makes a vital role in our daily lives.-)

The person who desires the color blue is sentimental, and loves small things.  If you love blue like me,  you are fairly even tempered, unless your emotions take over - then you can become either moody and over-emotional, or cool and indifferent.  You appear to be confident and self-controlled, but may be hiding your vulnerable side.

And you can be too cautious and worry about every little thing.  

It's undeniably me!

The Streets of Paris

Rue Cambon is more than just a place in Paris. It represents a beginning of the World of CHANEL. Gabrielle Chanel bought the place in 1921. Till the very day, rue Cambon kept the original organization.

One of the most fashionable streets in the world, Rue Du Fauborg Saint Honore, it has been dedicated to high fashion stores and exclusive establishments.

Known as the original maker of boxes and trunks, hard cases for gowns and hats since 1792.  It was the favorite of the French Aristocrats.  The store has been on the same ground since 1856.  Thus, 233 R St. Honore is handpainted on each delicate masterpiece.

Those are padlocks - Paris Love Locks as they say...  Lovers promise their commitment to each other, locks the padlock on the bridge's wired cables, and throws the key to the Seine River.  I did put my padlock there, but I kept my key on my pocket.  It's for the man who will open it up for me when we go back to Paris together and write his name beside mine.
