Its My Night & Moment

It was the "eve" of my Birthday...

I treated myself with a new Haircut and I want everyone to see the NEW ME...

I chose to wear something special because I'll be having a dinner with my fambam...  They're my "ungenetic" family, hahahaha...  It means that we are not blood related but they accepted me to their hearts and home, what I was, what I am, what I will be...  It is through them...

We celebrated my Birthday at La Cabrera, which served the best Argentinian steak ever!!!  And I super love the unlimited side dishes they serve...

After dinner, we had cocktails at The Bar, Peninsula Manila...  It is one of our favorite hang outs.  Because the music is not too loud, the crowd is good, the servers are cool, and the chips,  nuts, and popcorn are endless...

I thank God for giving me another year... It  has been a challenging one for me.  I've learned so many things in life.  Life may be hard, but only if you look at it that way...  But actually, we must love life, so life will love us back!!!

BANGING IN MY 25TH BIRTHDAY!!

Happiest Birthday EVER…

After everything I've been through, I came to realize that the only thing that matter is  love, happiness and being with the best  people in my life right now...   Now I know that I don't need a big bang celebration just to feel special.  Unlike my previous birthday, which was sooooo far from what I'm having right now.  

Girlfriends, I never experienced a grand celebration throughout my childhood, until last year.  Which was my 24th.  During that year, I told myself to give all what I've got and get myself the grandest birthday party I've been dreaming of.  All the people that I've known were invited.  Acquaintances, Pre-school classmates, high school and college friends, teachers and professors, colleagues, family and relatives, as in everyone that made me who I am today...  

That party had so much frustrations, because I expected too much.  I became perfectionist.  Lesson learned:  "Nothing is perfect because if everything is, no one will learn, no one will grow." 

But still, that grand celebration made me realize who values me and my friendship.  The people who helped me made it successful are the ones that hold my heart and will forever be dear to me.

This year, I had the most amazzzzzing birthday ever.  I was surrounded by those people.  

They threw me a small party, arranged everything for me, cancelled their bookings for me...  

All for me...

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!

How could I ask for more?

Hello October!!!  

Since this is my birthday month, I am ready to celebrate with all the people that I love, who are dear to me, who cries with me when I cry, who laughs with me when I laugh, and who suffers with me when I suffer...  These are the people who doesn't care if I don't have money or not...  For me, "Blood is Thicker Than Water" does not apply.  Not at all....

So much for the sentiments...

For my first Birthday dinner, I wanted to look playful, funky, but chic...  

My top is a blue cardigan.  But worn the other way around.  The buttons were at the back.  

I think it looked better that way with my mesh tutu/skirt...

The skirt can be used in formal/informal occasion, depends on how you pair it up with.  But I strongly suggest you get one because you can never go wrong with it.  It's one of the pieces that will never fade...  It can be matched easily, may it be with your stilettos or your favorite sneakers...

HK Getaway

Retail Therapy works the magic...  As always...

As I've told you before, I am going through a lot of things right now.  I cannot tell you how depress I was the past few weeks.  You might not notice it but hell yeah, I am in deep sh*t!!!!

So just to forget about it, I escaped to one of my favorite places...  A fast and effective pain reliever for the stressed peeps...  Hong Kong...  I just feel that whenever I leave the country, I'm leaving all the troubles behind, and makes me forget them...  

Luckily, I was surrounded by positive people...  I traveled with 5 of the funniest and coolest shopaholics in the world.  

I know what you guys are thinking... What I got for myself?  Of course I wouldn't be happy if I couldn't get even one for my bucket list eh???

Feeling like one of her sisters, I always refer to them as to what would I wear on a particular event...  Just looking at their pictures inspires me...  

One night when I was really in a bad mood, I already have plans of going out, but something came up and made me feel like crap...  Couldn't back out with the group so I had to set it aside and dress up for the occasion...

Color My World

Project Pie suddenly evolved here in Manila and I couldn't help but notice the long queue every time I pass by...  I decided to give it a try...

To brighten up my dull day, I decided to wear something colorful...

And then the journey began...  I had to choose whether to build my own pizza, or choose my own toppings... 

 Since I don't like greens (that is not to be proud of), I chose bacon and pepperoni with lots of cheese...  Their crust is thin, which I loved, and the sauce is neither sweet nor sour...  

I loved that the restaurant practices reducing, reusing, and recycling... 

Basically, I loved my project pie!!!

TGF Tip:  On wearing colorful top, try to contrast it by matching it with a plain bottom, or vice versa. That way you wouldn't look like an overdecorated Christmas tree...
