Why the name?

A girl who has experienced it all in college, and realizes that the best mates are the one who has power, money, and status.
- Urban Dictionary

Some of you may know who I really am. A person who fell in love with someone who has everything... He may not be as hot as your boyfriend, but he WAS my Christian Grey. I depended on him.
I thought I had it all. I thought I was the lucky one. But then I asked myself, what's in it for me? Am I doing this to improve myself or for physical world matters? It sucks to know that I used to be narcissistic. I need to get up and show the world what I am capable of. That I am not just a Trophy Girlfriend. This is the Trophy Girl Diaries.

Color My World

Project Pie suddenly evolved here in Manila and I couldn't help but notice the long queue every time I pass by...  I decided to give it a try...

To brighten up my dull day, I decided to wear something colorful...

And then the journey began...  I had to choose whether to build my own pizza, or choose my own toppings...

Since I don't like greens (that is not to be proud of), I chose bacon and pepperoni with lots of cheese...  Their crust is thin, which I loved, and the sauce is neither sweet nor sour...

I loved that the restaurant practices reducing, reusing, and recycling...

Basically, I loved my project pie!!!

TGF Tip:  On wearing colorful top, try to contrast it by matching it with a plain bottom, or vice versa. That way you wouldn't look like an overdecorated Christmas tree...

One Fine Day

By this time, you already know what my favorite color is...

Last Sunday, as usual, my favorite past time is malling...  I had plans in going to Greenbelt so I was prepared to pull off my denim bustier and match it with my Isabel Marrant...  Unfortunately, plans changed, it rained hard, and we re-routed to Greenhills...  What I was wearing was a little inappropriate because I looked so dolled up while strolling the "tiangge" rows.  People were staring!

But I managed it all the way and had a very fun afternoon with my "Un-genetic" family...

TGF Tip:  Tiangge can be very tiring and extremely hot.  People tend to squeeze each other.  Do wear cotton shirts and jeans or shorts if you're planning to visit anytime soon.  Especially now that Christmas in the Philippines starts in September...

'Til my next post, take care!!!

A Beautiful Evening

Last night was one of the most memorable nights for me...  I had the opportunity to dine with the Purse Ladies and the birthday celebrator, the Bag Genie himself, Mr. Dennis Robles of Authentecite.  If you don't know who he is, you might be leaving under the rock.

Since I wanted to look simple and not loud, I decided to wear my flowy jumpsuit.   The silver satin fabric felt like every motion I do seems to happen in fluid...  I just laid my hair down, parted it sideways, tucked in my ears, and wore a simple pair of pearl earrings...

I completed my garb with a fashionable smile and a cheerful look, that made me look Fabulously Dressed!

SAY IT!

These days, I feel like entering a rebellion realm and want to express my feelings through STATEMENT...

I've always loved the color white.  But do take note that whenever you want to wear white, you need to exude confidence...  You need to let them know that you won't spill red wine on your ensemble...
WHITE does not only symbolize Purity and Cleanliness.  It also reflects courage, and responsibility...

Like this clutch I got from Zara in Prague, CZ.

It says it all!!!

IM IN THE MOOD

You may be wondering why I always dress up?

Dressing up is my passion.  Clothing is my luxury treasure.  I don't usually buy expensive and high end clothing.  I just get my inspiration from the people I admire - Olivia Palermo is one of them, I adore her!!!

There are times when you can't choose what to wear, that you've almost ruined your closet and found nothing exciting to wear, oh buuuooooy, that happens to me all the time...

But there are also rare times when you just get anything from your closet and grab everything you can and when you mix them altogether, you'd come up with a perfect ensemble...
That's when you say, et voila!  I look fabulous!!!!

TGF Tip for the day:  Always be confident, it brings out the best in you!
